Nancy should date Steve. Jonathan has too much interiority and angst for them to ever pretend to love each other. Steve is like sure honey go wear a pantsuit and say a lot of curse words to men in your workplace I’ll be here with the kids and dinner. This would also end in a messy divorce when Nancy brings him along to some work party and Nancy’s colleagues are like. Oh you’re a homemaker. No college? Not sitting on any startups? Just a stay at home dad. Okay. What do you think about Wheeler’s piece on waterways (Nancy kept her name). And Steve’s like oh yeah great piece she’s been working hard I definitely agree waterways rule. And then one of Nancy’s colleagues starts snickering and is like. Well that’s interesting cause last I checked she was adamant they stop construction to save the family restaurant smack dab in the way. And Steve’s like. Oh. Yeah. Yeah of course haha. And then one of them is like I guess homemaking doesn’t leave you a lot of time for reading huh. And then they get in a huge fight about how she didn’t back him up and just lets her coworkers think he’s stupid. She cheats on him ofc that’s not in question. I realized in that last sentence I am just describing tomshiv point for point
